Salt Field Community Tour photo

Thousands of tourists come to visit Kampot's salt fields for their stunning beauty. However, the workers in the fields are often overlooked, and are not compensated for those visits. We hope to change that with this community-focused tour that gives visitors a chance to learn about the salt farming process while supporting the local workers.

  • See the harvest up close, guided by community members.
  • Visit the village of the people who continue this traditioanl style of work.
  • See the work being done to improve conditions for the salt field workers with a visit to the Chumkriel Language School NGO.
  • 20% of every booking goes towards improving the lives of salt field workers and their families.
